A
true visual artist for all your photography
needs, Paul strives for excellence in
his art and provides a positive, energy-driven creative session whether you
are looking for a special capturing of a
family portrait or a headshot for your career
in acting. As mostly a natural
light photographer, Paul captures the essence
of his vision with an untiring devotion
to bringing out (in image form) what he
sees and feels. He is fully equipped with
studio lights that travel with him to businesses
and homes, thus he brings the studio to
you for an on-location/environmental setup.
He also has access to a large studio for
those special projects that require studio
space.
After
graduating from college in Tampa, Florida,
Paul continued to learn the craft of photography
as well as the art. He has more than 14
years of professional experience "...with
a discerning eye and an engaging personality."
His lighting is typically soft, yielding
beautiful headshots, and is quoted in
The Actor's Guide
For Kids
as saying "In a good headshot,
the personality and character should be
seen in the eyes." His easygoing demeanor
relaxes his models/actors to allow for their
true personality and character to come through
on film.

My Background and Who I Am
I
have acted on stage with the Whole
World Theatre Improvisation Comedy Troupe.
I have also acted on-camera for a music
video televised on MTV2, for the band Man
or Astroman. I have been on the menu cover
for Olive Garden Restaurant. I have even
played one of Santa's elves during Christmas,
greeting shoppers. So, being on the other
side of the camera, I can fully appreciate
what the model/actor is feeling. That's
a great asset when the goal is to have someone
feel comfortable so they can truly be themselves
in front of the camera.
I am originally
from upstate New York but have spent most
of my life here in Georgia. I humbly give
thanks to God
for the gift He's blessed me with... the
talent to create images and memories for
your benefit, and I pray that I may make
a small difference in this world with
my talent.
I
enjoy cooking, reading, lifting weights,
jazz, my 3 year old nephew (the love of my life), and the martial arts, particularly Hapkido,
a discipline I practiced for about 8 years.
I'm retired from this activity, however,
due to a severe back injury sustained from
training. My brother, Dr. Carl Amodio saved
me from very risky neck and back surgery
(see him in my links section) ;)
